I just emailed you. It's PAT of butter.

PS - quick! change NFL to NHL b/f someone notices and thinks you're not a real hockey fan!

I'm here from IPB. You comment fun, so I figured you must be fun :P

Whoops, caught! NHL, quick change it!

And Schnookie may not take too kindly to you trying to steal her Crunchy (although I completely understand ;P)

It's pat, but pad does make more sense.

Christina and Courtney- I hilariously predicted that the two of you would both know the answer to the pad/pat issue, and take the time to comment.

Mags- Hey thanks for visiting. I'm glad someone else thinks STDs can be hilarious. I was worried for a second after I posted that comment! Also, Schnookie is quite aware of my intentions as to Crunchy, although at this point I am so in awe of her single minded commitment that if I ever met Crunchy I think I would just start babbling about Schnookie. Also, I would probably just accidentally call him Crunchy right to his face immediately upon meeting him for the first time. The bottom line is that deep down I understand that I will never love him the way that Schnookie loves him and for that reason, Crunchy and I can never be. (But don't tell her I admitted that.)

As for the NFL/NHL thing, I have no idea what you two are talking about? :)

You're right Kate, if I ever met Ryan I'd probably do the same thing. Schnookie <3 Crunchy in a most awesome way and you just have to let that love be (and your secret is safe with me). I think I'd actually use a nickname on all of the NHL guys, should I ever meet one.

Nope, I just see NHL now, must have been imagining it ;)

Hellz yeah, bitches! Hands off the Crunchy! He is MINE! :-)

(Seriously, I don't think I could ever speak to him in person because I'd never remember to call him by his real name. I actually never even meant to let slip with our "Crunchy" nickname on IPB, but couldn't handle liveblogging while having to remember to call him "Miller".)

Schookie- I can't believe you were attempting to withhold Crunchy's nickname from your minions. Somehow calling him Crunchy opened my heart up to a whole new level of love for Ryan Miller, and for that I am eternally grateful. What other gems are you withholding from us? Withholder. :)

My dream is that someday I am going to randomly meet Crunchy around town, and when that day comes, I will be ready, armed with a camera phone and a sign that says, "My name is Crunchy, and I play the electric oboe." You may have the superior love for Crunchy, but I've got the moxie necessary to convince him to hold that sign. With your vision, and my bullheaded willingness to make an ass of myself, we can get this thing done. I'm sure of it.

(Actually, I would probably run away from Crunchy, just like I do with all of the boys I like. I play very hard to get.)

Hey, you and I seem to deploy the same "hard to get" tactics! I operate under the belief that any guy worth knowing would be a guy I'd randomly meet while sitting on my couch in front of my TV. Which is why I'm on the forefront of the New Spinsterhood movement.

If you got a picture of Crunchy holding said sign, I'd... well... I don't know what I'd do. After nearly dying from laughing, I'd come up with a suitable reward, because that would be so far beyond awesome that it would hurt.

As for what else we're withholding... well, Pookie and I have been watching hockey for 12 years. We've only begun to scratch the surface of what can only be politely described as our "idiosyncratic" perspective. I have high hopes for the future of IPB and all that we can share with the world.

Alright, reveal your secrets in stages if you must...it's probably for the best. I doubt my mind could fully absorb the full scope of your "idiosyncratic" perspective. I wouldn't want to risk sustaining mental injuries- I'm limping along here as it is.

New Spinsterhood movement? Will membership interfere with my high level crocheting goals? If not, sign me up!

I think that crotcheting is actually a requirement for entry

Heh. Crocheting is the most spinstery thing ev-er. I was actually thinking that the New Spinsters might want to distance themselves from such stereotypical spinster behavior.

Spinning (you know, making yarn like) would be most spinstery no? And not just because of the SPIN they have in common, more because every boy that walks into my room and sees the wheel sorta goes "yeah bye"

And Kate, I would totally pay you a large sum of money to get that picture. That'd be awesome.

I bow down before you. I am your most humble servant. You are the Spinster Queen. :)

Actually, the term "spinster" comes from spinning. At least that's what I was told when I learned how to spin (yup, I used to have my own wheel, too. Actually, we had three in the household at one point, but that's neither here nor there...). Way back in the day, unmarried women would have to live with their married family members. Naturally, each member of the household would have specific chores they'd have to do, and the unmarried, older women, too weak to do the heavy lifting, would have the responsibility often of doing the spinning. Thus, spinster. I'm not sure if it's true, but it kind of makes sense!

I love the idea of the poor spinster, weakened by her own loneliness. She can only preform the least taxing chores.
